Lomography

Jeremy and I got a camera called a Holga.
It's from a company called
Lomography. It has the potential to take awesome photo's, but this is just our first roll or two. We'll get better and as we do I'll post them. Check out lomography and buy a camera cheaper on Amazon.

Random Stuff...

Dracula's castle is for sale! Trendhunter has the details.

There's this website called Pimp That Snack and they make HUGE versions of candy bars and such. I came across this image of a Cadbury Egg and thought it was amazing.

So Sad...

Conde Nast announced today that it will be closing Jane Magazine. This really didn't come as a surprise to me due to the fact that ever since it changed editors, the content and writing went out the window. However, it did remain one of the few publications I consistantly read.

So, farewell Jane Magazine. You can read the press release Here

I need it...

As I was searching for a background image for this blog, I found this great fabric designer's blog. She stamped on this fabric with a tool called the Gocco Stamp Kit. It repeats patterns easily and is really neat. Unfortunately, it is discontinued, but I think you can still buy it from discounted websites. It may have to be my next purchase. Click on the photo to see what the stamp can do.

Crazy Creative

I came across this ad from Leo Burnett and thought it was the strongest statement I had ever seen. The possibilities are endless for advertisers.

Sex and the City

It was reported today that the girls of Sex and the City have finally agreed to make a movie. (YAY!) I am excited about this, but also a little pissed b/c the claimed they'd never do it. Whatever girls. I never believed you anyways. You can read the whole story HERE.

Shake, Rattle & Roll

Who doesn't love seeing movies for free? One of the best things I've taken away from my internship was this website: Shakefire.com. You can sign up to get free movie passes and they'll mail them to you. Don't get your hopes up too high. The downside is that they don't ALWAYS send them and they aren't ALWAYS in your home town. Luckily, a lot of the time they are in Nashville. So check it out. Current Shakefire signups include: I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry & Hairspray. I swear if you get Hairspray tickets before I do, I may have to pull the gay jewish man inside me out and haunt you.
